Transwestern adds Desmond as senior VP

Houston, Texas-based Transwestern has added Dennis L. Desmond to its Phoenix, Ariz., office as senior VP of its investment services group.

Desmond is a former senior VP with Grubb & Ellis/BRE Commercial and has been a real estate professional for 29 years. He currently serves on the board of directors for the Wellness Community, a non-profit cancer support organization.

Desmond served eight years with the United States Secret Service and earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.
