Minneapolis' 225 South Sixth to be placed on the market

Bethesda, Md.-based ASB Capital is placing the 225 South Sixth skyscraper in Minneapolis, Minn., on the sales block.

Brokers from Cushman & Wakefield's Minneapolis office will be marketing the building on behalf of ASB Capital.

The 55-story office tower is the largest in Minneapolis and contains 1.4 million square feet. It was developed by IBM Associates Limited Partnership in 1992 and has an appraised value of $216 million, according to Hennepin County property records. ABS purchased the building from its current manager, Hines Interests.
