6/9/2008Voit Commercial sells two Houston office properties

Houston, Texas-based American Spectrum Realty, Inc. has purchased two multi-tenant office building in Houston from Foremost Fountainview, L.P. Alan Pekarcik, Dan Vittone of Voit Commercial Brokerage, along with Darrell Betts of Grubb & Ellis, represented the seller in the deal. The two four-story buildings, Westheimer I and II, are located at 2640 and 2650 Fountain View Dr. They are situated on 6.28 acres and are occupied by large and small tenants. The 2640 location contains 90,123 square feet while the 2650 building contains 87,953 square feet. Pekarcik is a senior vice president with Voit Commercial and has been with the company since 1998. Prior to that, he was vice president of acquisitions for Kilroy Realty and also a broker for DAUM/Johnstown American. He holds a degree in business administration from the University of Southern California. Vittone, also a senior vice president, joined Voit in 2001 after being a manager at Cushman Realty and a financial analyst with CB Commercial Real Estate Group.
