Cassidy & Pinkard finalize sale of Woodland Pointe

Hamburg, Germany-based Union Investment Real Estate AG has purchased Woodland Pointe, a newly-built office building in Herndon, Va., from New York City-based Tishman Speyer.

Bill Collins, Drew Flood, Paul Collins and James Cassidy of Cassidy & Pinkard Colliers represented Tishman Speyer in the deal.

Woodland Pointe is located on the Dulles Toll Rd. at 2260 Woodland Pointe Ave. It contains 187,747 square feet and is currently 100 percent occupied to Volkswagen of America. Volkswagen is moving its headquarters to the building, along with offices for Audi of America, Audi Financial Services and Volkswagen Credit.
