Molinaro Koger brokers sale of Florida Hampton Inn

Hampton Inn & Suites

Greenbelt, Md.-based Columbia Hospitality, Inc. has purchased the Hampton Inn & Suites in Lakeland, Fla., for an undisclosed price from the hotel's developer, Platinum Ridge Florida, LLC.

Andy Kern of Molinaro Koger's Washington, D.C., office brokered the transaction.

The hotel is located at 4420 North Socrum Loop Rd. and contains 117 rooms. It was recently built and will be managed by Baywood Hotels. Columbia will continue to operate the property as a Hampton Inn under a long-term franchise agreement with Hilton Hotels Corporation.
