Transwestern sells Milwaukee Center

Newton, Mass.-based HRPT Properties Trust has acquired the Milwaukee Center office tower in downtown Milwaukee, Wis., from Transwestern Investment Company.

The Milwaukee Center is located across from City Hall at 111 East Kilbourne Ave. The 28-story tower contains 373,516 square feet and was 93 percent leased at the time of sale to tenants including Marshall & Ilsley Trust Company, Davis & Kuelthau, S.C., Legion Insurance Company and AXA Equitable Life Insurance Company.
