First Industrial acquires 262 acres in Joliet

First Industrial Realty Trust has acquired 262 acres of land in Joliet, Ill, for an undisclosed price from J.B.B.R.E. Holdings.

The deal was handled by Gerald Sullivan, Edward Wabick and J. Louis DeSanto of Paine/Wetzel ONCOR International.

The land is located at the interchange of I-80 and Houbolt Road. First Industrial plans to develop the land into an industrial development called First Park Joliet. The development site will offer buildings ranging in size from 100,000 to over one million square feet.
