Wrightwood Capital adds Ballent to investment team

Wrightwood Capital has added William Ballent to its investment team. He will lead the firm's Western Region.

Ballent is a former employee of Wells Fargo Bank, Continental Bank and was a regional manager and founding member of Merrill Lynch Capital. He is also a former senior vice president and regional manager with Heller Financial, where he handled mezzanine financing and originating structured debt.

Ballent earned his bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana and his master's from Indiana University in Bloomington.
