8/26/2008Massey Knakal sells three Brooklyn properties
by Jim Brubaker | | The property at 65th and West 5th Streets | Massey Knakal Realty Services has sold three properties in Brooklyn's Boro Park and Bensonhurst areas. The first, a 36,000-square-foot, four-story apartment building with ground floor retail at 1207 49th St., was sold in an all-cash transaction valued at $6.25 million. Located in the Boro Park section of Brooklyn, the 100-foot-wide property has 36 residential units and seven commercial units. The building is located one block from the 13th Avenue retail corridor; the main retail corridor for Boro Park. Moshe Gottfried of Blue Sky Realty, LLC, also helped broker the transaction. In addition, Massey Knakal sold a three-story mixed-use property at 1340 60th St., also in the Boro Park. The all-cash transaction was valued at $1.275 million. Located on the south side of 60th Street between 13th Avenue and New Utrecht avenue, the building contains one commercial unit on the ground floor and two residential apartments on the two upper floors. The 5,880-square-foot building is currently vacant. In a third all-cash transaction, Massey Knakal sold a vacant women's discount shoe store in Bensonhurst for $550,000. The two-story property, located at the southwest corner of 65th and West 5th Streets, is approximately 2,400 square feet. Address: 1207 49th St., Brooklyn, N.Y.
