HHF closes $12.99M sale of suburban Atlanta retail center

Holliday Fenoglio Fowler has closed the sale of the 74,471-square-foot Lanier Commons, a grocery-anchored retail center in Cumming, Ga., a suburb of Atlanta, for $12.99 million.

The seller, Varner Properties, Inc., was represented by Whitney Knoll, Jim Hamilton and Kevin Hurley, all former members of Staubach Capital Markets who joined HFF in May. The team began marketing the property while still with Staubach.

The buyer was Mimms Enterprises.

Lanier Commons, completed in 2004 and 94 percent occupied, is one mile west of Lake Lanier and 30 miles north of downtown Atlanta.
