New Orleans apartments being offered for $31.5M

The Westchase Apartments, a 380-unit complex in the New Orleans suburb of Harvey, La., is being offered for sale with an asking price of $31.5 million, or $82,895 per unit.

The offering is being handled by Dorothy Jackman and Steven Eschler, investment specialists in the Tampa, Fla., office of Marcus & Millichap.

The 296,748-square-foot property was renovated in 2007 and 2008 after suffering damage from Hurricane Katrina in 2005. It was originally built in 1967 and is located at 1013 Manhattan Blvd. in Harvey, a town roughly seven miles south of New Orleans. Situated on 10.97 acres, the Westchase is comprised of 28 two- and three-story buildings.
