9/15/2008CBRE inks $18M deal for Duluth retail center
by Abbotts Bridge Station, a Duluth, Ga., retail center, has been acquired by Westwood Financial Corp. for $18.65 million from Atlanta-based Germania of America. Chris Decoufle and Kevin Reavey of CB Richard Ellis represented Germania in the transaction. Abbotts Bridge is an 88,391-square-foot retail center that is located at 10820 Abbotts Bridge Rd. Built in 1998, it is currently occupied by Metro City Bank, Missy Cosmetics, Love Letter Chicken & Pizza and White Windmill Bakery. Decoufle is a senior VP with CBRE and currently works in the firm's National Retail Investment Group. He was CBRE's Rookie of the Year in 1993 and ranks among the top 15 in retail brokers. Reavey, an associate with CBRE, has focused on institutional grade retail properties since 2005. Prior to that, he worked as a financial analyst with CBRE.
