JV sells 1620 L St. in Washington, D.C.


The John Buck Co. has purchased 1620 L St. in Washington, D.C., from a joint venture between TIAA-CREF and Chicago, Ill.-based Equity Office.

Stephen Conley, Andrew Weir and Daniel McIntyre of Holliday Fenoglio Fowler represented the selling venture and secured acquisition financing for The John Buck Co.

The 12-story office building contains 164,079 square feet and is within walking distance of the four Metro Stations. It was 97 percent leased at the time of sale to tenants including the U.S. Bureau of Land Management, MetLife, Cresa Partners, the National Association of Independent Schools and Liberty Mutual.
