AEW Capital Management acquires two Austin industrial properties


AEW Capital Management has purchased Southpark 3 & 4, two industrial properties in Austin, Texas, from an affiliate of GE Pension Trust.

The deal was handled by Jud Clements and Robby Rieke of Holliday Fenoglio Fowler.

The two buildings are located at 4209 and 4129 S. Industrial Dr. They were completed in 1995 and contain a combined 176,000 square feet. The buildings are 89 percent leased to tenants such as The Whitley Printing Co., BlueLinx Corp., Crawford Electric Supply and Austin Tele-Services. The acquisition included an adjacent 4.2-acre development site.
