Weston, Inc., purchases former Hitachi industrial plant

Solon, Ohio-based Weston, Inc., has purchased the Greenville Commerce Center in Greenville, S.C., for an undisclosed price.

Weston was represented in the transaction by Grice Hunt and Ford Borders of NAI Earle Furman.

The property is the former manufacturing plant for Hitachi. It is located on 53 acres at I-85 and Mauldin Road and contains 549,000 square feet. The facility will be able to accommodate industrial tenants ranging in size from 50,000 to 500,000 square feet. Renovations are currently underway that will transform the building in a multi-tenant property .
