Weingarten sells Siegen Plaza for $30M

Weingarten Realty Investors has sold the Siegen Plaza retail center in Baton Rouge, La., for more than $30 million to Oak Brook, Ill.-based The Inland Real Estate Group.

Holliday Fenoglio Fowler's Jim Batjer, Doug Hazelbaker and Ryan Shore represented Weingarten in the transaction.

Siegen Plaza is located at 6725 Siegen Lane and contains 156,228 square feet. It is shadow-anchored by SuperTarget and sits on a 22.4-acre lot. Built in 2001, the center is 98 percent occupied by tenants including Ross Dress for Less, Conn's Appliance, Petco, Rack Room Shoes, Olive Garden and Chick-fil-A.
