11/25/2008Denver firm buys space in Phoenix distribution building
by WT Cobblehill of Denver has purchased almost one-third of Washington Airport Center, a 244,768 square foot cross-dock distribution building in central Phoenix, for $8.89 million. The seller, LNR Property Group, was represented by CB Richard Ellis. Carter Real Estate represented the buyer. The space currently is occupied by Sara Lee Bakery Group, which operates a just-in-time distribution facility for its baked goods. Washington Airport Center, at 3425 E. Van Buren St. near Sky Harbor International Airport, is being offered as industrial condominiums, divisible into 13,192 square foot spaces.
