100,000 sf Alabama office sells for $16 million

A single-tenant office structure built in 2007 near the nation's second-largest research park has been sold for $15.75 million to HPC Properties. Marcus & Millichap represented the buyer.

The 99,197 square foot structure at 6725 Odyssey Drive in Huntsville, Ala., is leased to Science Applications International, a publicly traded Fortune 500 company with offices in more than 150 countries worldwide. The property has frontage along Odessey Drive.

The 6.7-acre property is near Cummings Research Park as well as a number of large technology, communications and manufacturing companies, including Redstone Arsenal, Space and Rocket Center, Lockheed Martin Information Systems, Quadrum Telecommunications and Bevilacqua Research Corp.
