Joint venture receives $44M refinancing loan in Austin


Holliday Fenoglio Fowler's Dallas office has secured a $44 million refinancing loan for a downtown office property in Austin, Texas.

The property is owned by a joint venture between Walton Street Capital and T. Stacy & Associates. The joint venture purchased the office building in 2004.

Andy Scott and Brandon Chavoya worked on behalf of the venture to secure the 30-month loan with CapitalSource Finance, LLC. The loan will be used to fund capital improvements to the property and future lease-up plans.

The 26-story building is located at the intersection of 6th Street and Congress Avenue. It contains 261,609 square feet and is currently 90 percent leased to tenants including Bank of America, BDO Siedman, LLP and Manpower.
