Marcus & Millichap hires national director of National Self-Storage Group

Marcus & Millichap has added Gregory Wendelken as the national director for the firm's National Self-Storage Group.

Wendelken is also the VP and regional manager of Marcus & Millichap's Seattle, Wash., office and has been with the firm since 1984. He was a senior associate in the Newport Beach office until 1988 until he became the sales manager in the Ontario office.

He is a graduate of the University of Southern California where he earned a bachelor's degree in business administration.

"Every NSSG investment professional is an expert in their geographic and product specialty," Wendelken said. "As the new head of the NSSG, I plan to expand our already strong market share at a time when pricing continues to drop by bringing excellent investment opportunities to savvy buyers, who will enjoy stabilized returns on the storage properties if they choose to hold over the long term."
