1/29/2009Atlantic Beverage buys N.J. industrial site
by After leasing industrial space at 3775 Park Ave. in Edison, N.J., for 10 years, Atlantic Beverage Co. has purchased 138,000 square feet of industrial space in the building for $7 million. Last year, a joint venture of Tulfra Realty Co. and Hampshire Properties purchased the site from L.A. Dreyfus and converted the 507,400 square foot building to industrial condominiums. Atlantic Beverage's purchase is the first commitment there. Cushman & Wakefield, which had represented the seller in last year's sale, represented Atlantic Beverage in its 2009 purchase. The property is located near the intersection of Oak Tree Road on nearly 50 acres, spanning the towns of Edison and South Plainfield. Address: 3775 Park Ave., Edison, N.J.
