Columbia shopping center listed for $28.5M

Midtown at Forest Acres, a 690,594-square-foot shopping center in Columbia, S.C., has been placed on the market with an asking price of $28.5 million.

Bill Kohlhepp of Marcus & Millichap's Fort Lauderdale office is representing the Florida-based investment group in the offering.

The enclosed retail center is situated at 3400 Forest Dr., and encompasses 900,000 square feet. Built in 1988, it currently operates at 61 percent occupancy with tenants including Belk, Barnes & Noble, Foot Locker and Regal Cinemas. It is being offered for $41 per square foot.
