San Francisco hotel commands $6.21M

A local investor has purchased a 33,419-square-foot San Francisco, Calif., hotel for $6.21 million.

Richard Ehmer, a first vice president/Investments of Marcus & Millichap's National Hospitality Group and James Devincenti, senior vice president of investments of the San Francisco office, represented both parties in the transaction.

Known as Mosser Financial Hotel, the property is located at 640 Clay Street and contains 124 single rooms. It was originally constructed in 1912.
