CB Richard Ellis facilitates sale of Holiday Inn in Maine

Lafayette Hotels has purchased a 239-room Holiday Inn by the Bay in Portland, Maine from Harper Hotels.

Dave McElroy and Scott Hutchinson of CB Richard Ellis/New England represented both parties in the transaction.

Located at 88 Spring St., the 11-story hotel features the largest hotel conference facility in Maine at more than 30,000 square feet in addition to an indoor swimming pool, fitness center and on-site restaurant. The property is in close proximity to the Portland Museum of Art, Portland Harbor, numerous retail amenities and restaurants and offers commanding views of Portland's harbor and cruise ship dock.
