Grubb & Ellis Co. has welcomed Andrew Harper to its downtown Los Angeles, Calif., office as vice president, Institutional Capital Markets Group. Harper, an 11-year real estate vet, joins the company from Cushman & Wakefield of California Inc., where he served as a director of the company's Capital Markets Group for nine years, and represented institutional clients, including MetLife, Tishman Speyer, Beacon Capital and Brooks Properties, with the disposition of office, industrial, development and retail properties. Prior to that, he worked with CB Richard Ellis as a real estate analyst. In his career, Harper has been involved in the disposition of more than 19 million square feet of commercial property space, valued at nearly $4.5 billion, and has completed more than 200 appraisal assignments.
